Welcome to The Midway Minute!

It is with great pleasure that we write to inform you of an exciting change that has taken place with Midway Distribution Inc. On December 1, 2009, Midway Distribution merged its' operations into the Sataria Group, a logistics management company owned by Creo Capital Partners. The company will continue to operate as Midway Distribution, and all of the employees will be retained. As such, this merger will be relatively invisible to our valued customers and carrier partners. 

This merger will bring about only positive change to Midway and its customers. In addition to bringing the financial resources of Creo Capital Partners, Midway will be improving transportation management systems; will benefit from Satarias' existing freight management and warehousing operations; and will add management resources to Midway's already highly talented leadership team. Sataria is led by Bob Moran, a 30 year veteran of the logistics industy. The company President, Keith Warren is a logistics professional with more than 22 years of experience. Joe D. Thomas is the company's CFO and has complimentary experience in both private equity and transportation management.

From Sataria's perspective, the merger with Midway Distribution will help us to realize our long-term goal of developing a fresh and frozen network of freight management offices and distribution warehouse locations. We hope to begin offering scheduled LTL consolidation and deconsolidation services as early as Q3 2010 through a network of existing refrigerated warehouse and shipping locations..  From our carrier partner's perspective, we will have additional volumes to offer resulting in more steady utilization of their assets and increased efficiency in our continuous move initiatives. This will result in compression of the order-to-delivery time line, making it easier for our customers to get their products to market.
